DAY 1: ZAGREB

Arrival at the Zagreb airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in hotel.


DAY 2: ZAGREB

Breakfast. Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the fortified Medieval Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church with it’s colourful roof, the Cathedral of St. Stephen, the Stone Gate, the University and the Croatian National Theatre. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Zagreb.


DAY 3: ZAGREB – PLITVICE

Breakfast at the hotel in Zagreb. Drive to Plitvice National Park and visit the most beautiful park in Croatia. The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, connected by series of waterfalls and set in deep woodland populated deers, bears, wolves and different bird species. Magnificent lakes lower and upper, visited by lake boat and small train. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Plitvice.


DAY 4: PLITVICE – DUBROVNIK

Breakfast. Departure to Dubrovnik, enjoy a scenic drive along the Dalmatian coast. Arrival at Dubrovnik. The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Dubrovnik.


DAY 5: DUBROVNIK

Breakfast. Morning sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik includes visits to the Franciscan Monastery with one of the oldest pharmacies in the world, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. We shall also see Orlando’s Column, Bell Tower Clock and the Sponza Palace. In the afternoon, we shall have free time for individual visits and leisure. There will be plenty of time for an optional touring on the city walls with their magnificent fortresses and towers. Overnight in Dubrovnik.


DAY 6: DUBROVNIK – MEĐUGORJE – SPLIT

Breakfast. Departure to Međugorje. Upon your arrival to Međugorje the guide will take us to the tour of shrine of Our Lady Queen of Peace. The tour starts with introductory part about shrine of Our Lady Queen of Peace. Theprogram continues with visit to: Apparition hill – place where everything started 24 of June 1981, we will hear the story about first days of the apparitions, and then you will climb Apparition hill and spend som e time at the apparition site in a silent prayer. Blue cross – also a place of many apparitions which is located at the base of the Apparition hill. After the visit, continuation to Split for overnight.


DAY 7: SPLIT

Breakfast. Morning visit of town Split whose beauty dated since IV century B. C. when Roman emperor Diocletian decided to build his residential palace. This Roman palace is very well preserved and today attracts with its constructions and original walls but also popular place for small shops which will be visited. After that we visit the Cathedral of St. Duje which is a complex of a church, formed from an Imperial Roman mausoleum with a bell tower; strictly the church is dedicated to the Virigin Mary, and the bell tower to St. Duje. Together they form the Cathedral of St. Duje. The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Split.


DAY 8: SPLIT – TROGIR – ZADAR

Breakfast. Drive towards Trogir, the small Old Town so rich in history and culture that it is often referred to as a “city museum” so it is easy to see why the entire city was placed in the UNESCO world heritage list. In the afternoon, continuation to Zadar. Visit of the old town with its pre-Romanesque church that dates from around the 9th century which is a symbol of Zadar. Right in front of the Church of St. Donat are the remains of the Roman forum dating from the 1st century BC. At the end of the Western Quay is Zadar’s newest feature, the Sea Organ. This unusual organ is powered by the wind and the sea. When the sea pushes air through the whistles, a series of melancholy chords are played. With the sound emerging through the perforated stone stairs. Overnight in Zadar.

DAY 9: ZADAR – OPATIJA

Breakfast. Departure for Opatija„The Queen of Tourism“ of Croatia. Upon arrival walking tour along the promenade of Opatija, once the resort of the Habsburgs and European Royalty, as well as personalities from the world of culture, such as Gustav Mahler or A. P. Chekhov. The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Opatija.


DAY 10: OPATIJA – PULA – ROVINJ – OPATIJA

Breakfast and departure to Pula. Sightseeing tour of Pula includes a visit to the Roman Amphitheatre Arena (1st century), one of the best preserved in the world, Triumphal Arch of Sergius, Temple of Augustus, Gate of Hercules and Byzantine chapel of St. Maria Formosa. Pula was the home of the Histrians, the Romans and the Venetians. Once the central Austrian port, today it is the largest cultural and economic centre of Istria. Various layers of history took part in the making of this unique town in which Roman temples defy Baroque palaces, early Christian churches stand face to face to Austrian villas, and the remnants of Medieval walls are cut through by antique town gates. Continuation to Rovinj, one of the most charming towns in the Adriatic. Feel the enchantment of the town in its narrow Medieval streets and warm Mediterranean setting. The main Church of St. Euphemia keeps relics of the saint and presents one of the most beautiful Baroque achievements in Istria. From the church plateau there is a wonderful view of the open sea and numerous islets in the distance. A visit to the Town Museum and the town’s many galleries will complete your cultural experience. Return to Opatija for overnight.


DAY 11: OPATIJA – LJUBLJANA

Breakfast. After breakfast drive to Ljubljana, sightseeing with local guide. Walking through the city centre, the picturesque Central open-air Market and the Three Bridges, both designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik, Baroque Town Hall and Dragon Bridge, visit of Cathedral San Nicholas. The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Ljubljana.


DAY 12: LJUBLJANA – POSTOJNA – BLED – LJUBLJANA

In the afternoon, the visit of Postojna cave, the greatest tourist attraction in Slovenia and one of the world’s largest karst monuments. A fantastic web of tunnels, passages, galleries and halls, the astonishing diversity of Karst features as well as easy access are certainly the main reasons for such popularity of the cave. Guided tour will consist of a ride by electrical train and followed by a walk through beautiful passages and chambers with spectacular drop stones, pillars, limestone curtains and other unforgettable forms. In the afternoon, the excursion to Bled, the magnificent Alpine resort. The highlight of the Bled is certainly picturesque old castle perched on top of a steep cliff above the glacial Lake Bled. Castle terraces offer spectacular views of the lake and its tiny island in the middle. We will take a boat ride with “Pletna”– traditional boat made by locals and reach the only true island in Slovenia, ring a “fortune bell” and enjoy the beautiful reflection of the mountains on the lake, sun, peace and fresh air or continue to breath-taking beauty of Bled’s Vintgar gorge, where wooden path leads along rushing river Radovna. Return to Ljubljana for overnight.


DAY 13: LJUBLJANA – ZAGREB

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport of Zagreb.
