General conditions

Coach tours and tailor made programmes


Reservation / bookings

All reservations / bookings should be made in writing through Listo Travel. Rooming lists should reach Listo Travel at least 30 days prior beginning of the tour or programme. All additional bookings are on request and need to be reconfirmed.


Group bookings

The first review date is 90 days prior to departure. The first rooming list due date is approximately 60 days prior to departure. This is the latest date space may be released without forfeiture of deposit. It is very important that on or before the rooming list due date you contact us and advise the names of passengers booked to date. If all space has not been sold, your options will be as follows: a) Provide us with names and continue to book on space available basis. b) Provide us with the names booked to date. If you wish to hold unsold space, at your own risk you decide on the total number of seats you expect to fill. Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure.


Delayed arrival

Since we are land operator and do not provide airfare tickets we do not cover any refunds for missed flights and subsequently late start/no start of the tour. All additional costs have to be settled on the spot by passengers. We recommend that in case of delay client’s call at the emergency phone.


Special needs travelers

Any disability requiring special attention needs to be reported at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled participants; however we are not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels or restaurants. Motor coaches, mini buses, vans and cars are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on/off transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Travelers who need assistance must be accompanied by a companion who will be able to assist them.


Young tour participants

Tour participants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of their children, including to provide any necessity safety equipment where appropriate.


Accommodation

The tour hotels are based on local classifications, which vary from country to country. While every effort is made to reserve twin bedded rooms, it may happen that a hotel provides some double bedded rooms instead. If such thing happens, double bedded rooms will be allocated to couples, triple share rooms are generally based on an extra rollaway bed, which is not always suitable for adults. Please note that standard policy is that hotel rooms are available for check in after 14:00. Early check in needs to be advised in advance. Also please note that we cannot guarantee that early check in will be free of charge, since the standard policy is that early check in requires a pre night to be booked and paid for.


Transfers

Transfers are provided by car, minibus or motor coach. If you deviate from the arrival and/or departure dates as stated in the itinerary, you may purchase the transfer service prior your final tour payment date. Your arrival transfer is guaranteed for up to one hour from your scheduled arrival time in order to compensate for minor delays. Listo Travel or the transfer company will not be responsible for flights delays, for any reason, beyond one hour from your originally scheduled arrival time. In case of a delay, whether due to flight delays or time spent reporting baggage damage or loss, it will be your responsibility to make other transfer arrangements such as a taxi. Transfer costs are not refundable and any additional expenses will be your responsibility.


Smoking

Smoking is not allowed on motor coaches or minibuses.

Local holidays

During national holidays certain facilities (museums, sightseeing tours and shopping) may be limited or unavailable. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible.


Luggage

No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage to baggage or passenger belongings.


Lost luggage

All lost luggage on connecting flights are not responsibility of land operator. We do not guarantee that the luggage will be found and delivered to assigned hotel. We will provide assistance on the spot (through our tour manager) that will help the passenger communicate with air company.


Travel documents

No responsibility is accepted for loss of or damage to travel documents or any of passenger’s belongings.


Passports and visas

A valid passport (identity card) is required of all tour participants. All passengers regardless of the passport they hold should check with the appropriate consulates to determine is any visas are needed. Securing any needed visas is the responsibility of the tour participant.


Overbooking

Listo Travel reserves the right to change or modify a reservation in case of circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control that cannot be predicted, avoided or rectified. Booked accommodation can be substituted only by an accommodation unit of the same or higher category and at the price confirmed during booking, provided that customer is notified ahead of time.


Refunds for unused services

No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced.


Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be made in writing. The following scale of charges will apply when notice of cancellation is given after the booking is confirmed:

• up to 60 days prior to departure no cancellation fees

• up to 30 days prior to departure 20% of the price

• 29-22 days prior to departure 30 % of the price

• 21-15 days prior to departure 50 % of the price

• 14-8 days prior to departure 80 % of the price

• 7-0 days prior to and after departure 100 % of the price


Listo Travel Liability

In all cases wherein Listo Travel is rendering services (i. e. providing vehicles or transportation, meals, guides, tickets, etc.) it is acting solely as an agent or intermediary for the owners or contractors. Listo Travel, shall neither be nor become liable or responsible in any way for any loss, injury, damage, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect, through the acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in covering out the arrangements of the tour, or as a direct or indirect result of acts of God, dangers, incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, pilferage, quarantines, medical or customs regulations or from any causes beyond Listo Travel's control, or from any loss or damage resulting from improper passports, visas or other documents.

Listo Travel cannot accept responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedule or other causes. The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any tour passenger should such person’s health or general deportment impede the operation of the tour to the detriment of other passengers.

Furthermore, vouchers or tickets issued are subject to all laws, conditions and regulations as imposed by local authorities and governmental administration in countries visited. Under no condition will any liability en excess of that dictated by law be recognized.
